Would you like to get involved and support TUOI? Join us as an active member of Trait d’Union Outaouais!
After applying and paying an annual fee, you will have access to benefits and services. Our service offerings vary within the various member categories:

Member Family (parent, tutor or legal representative of an autistic person)

Supporting Member (relative of an autistic person or community sympathiser)
To become a member in the Family or Adult categories, please submit a request that will be reviewed by TUOI before approval. Proof of diagnosis is required. To become a member in the Corporate or Supporting categories, please fill out the appropriate form. Members in the Honorary category are designated by the Board of Directors.
Benefits vary by member category. For all member categories, benefits include:

Preferential access to our events and activities for all.

Access to books and DVDs from our Lending Library.
If you are the parent, tutor or legal representative of an autistic person, you can become a member in the Family category.
Membership in this category includes:

Access to activities and services reserved for families.

Access to registration for your child for activities reserved for autistic people of all ages, according to available spaces.

A vote during General Assemblies.

The opportunity to apply to serve on the Board of Directors.
Annual fee: $30
Annual fee for a second parent (second vote): $15
To become a member in the Family category, please submit a request for access with a proof of diagnosis as a first step of the process.
You will be able to proceed with your membership activation once we confirm your eligibility.
ADULT MEMBER (autistic person aged 16 or over)
If you are autistic and aged 16 or over and you wish to become an individual member separate from your family, you can become a member in the Adult category.
Membership in this category includes:

Access to registration for activities reserved for autistic adults.

A vote during General Assemblies.

The opportunity to apply to serve on the Board of Directors (for those aged 18 or over).
Annual fee: $10
To become a member in the Adult category, please submit a request for access with a proof of diagnosis as a first step of the process. You will be able to proceed with your membership activation once we confirm your eligibility.
Important Note: If you are the parent, tutor or legal representative of an Adult member and wish to have access to services for families, registration as a member in the Family category is required.

If you are closely related to an autistic person (grandparent, aunt/uncle, godmother/father, etc.), or a member of the community at large (student, professional, etc.), and you wish to get involved and support TUOI as an individual, you can become a Supporting Member.
Membership in this category also includes:

The opportunity to apply to serve on the Board of Directors as a Community Representative.
Annual fee: $20

If you are a representative of an institution, organization, company or association and you wish to get involved and support TUOI, you can become a Corporate Member.
For you and your employees, registration also includes:

A vote during General Assemblies (the name of the delegate must be specified at registration).
Annual fee: $100
View our activities and services for all.
Honorary Members of Trait d’Union Outaouais are designated by the Board of Directors to highlight their exceptional contribution to the organization and engagement within the autistic community.
Our Honorary Members can serve on the Board of Directors, but do not automatically have a vote at the Annual General Assembly.
