Services for the Community

Here are the services offered to everyone in the Outaouais community:

Info-Advice Line

Do you have a question, a doubt, or need guidance regarding a situation related to autism? TUO’s Info-Advice service is here for you.
Open to all—parents, autistic adults, professionals, or partners—this service allows you to connect with our team to receive information, support, or referrals to the right resources. Whether by phone, online, or in person, our team listens and supports you with care. This service acts as a true bridge between the needs of autistic individuals and the resources available in the community. It is a new and developing service at TUO.

Training and Awareness Activities (“Autism-Friendly” program)

These are intended for schools, community organizations, municipalities, and professional environments. These interventions aim to improve understanding of autism, equip participants, and foster more inclusive environments. Training can be offered in person or online, depending on needs and availability. See the '“Autism-Friendly” program for possible intervention contexts, and feel free to contact us for specific needs.

The Grand Autism Gathering and the Walk for Autism

This is TUO’s flagship event to mark Autism Month in Quebec. It is a festive and inclusive fundraising activity, with proceeds supporting the organization’s summer camps. This annual gathering brings together families, partners, volunteers, and community members for awareness activities, testimonials, and celebrations. The Grand Gathering includes the traditional Autism Walk.

Workshops and Conferences

Some are open to the public to promote autism awareness, inclusion, and the sharing of experiences among families and/or professionals. Stay tuned on our Facebook or Instagram pages for updates.
